Greg Norman
In his storied career, Greg Norman has won 86 professional events around the world, including two Open Championships and 20 US PGA Tour titles. With an astounding 331 weeks as the number-one-ranked player, “The Great White Shark” is a living golf legend. Norman is designing the Fire and Earth courses, as well as co-designing the Wind course with Pete Dye and Sergio Garcia.
Vijay Singh
Vijay Singh, who is designing Water, is one of the most successful players in the world. After his induction to the World Golf Hall of Fame in October 2006, Vijay was the second-highest earner on the PGA Tour for 2007 and the number-one earner in 2008. After his victory at the World Golf Championships–Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio in August 2008, he became the most successful international player in the history of the US Tour.
Pete Dye
Regarded as the father of modern golf course design, Pete Dye is co-designing the Wind course with Sergio Garcia and Greg Norman. One of only six PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award winners and creator of some of the game’s most famous courses, Dye is considered by many to be the most influential course designer in golf history. Ten of his courses are ranked within the top 100 golf courses in the world.
Sergio Garcia
One of the most exciting players in the game today, Sergio Garcia is co-designing the Wind course with Pete Dye and Greg Norman, one of his first-ever course design projects. His seven PGA and eight European Tour wins include his Players Championship victory at TPC Sawgrass in 2008.
