As part of creating a true centre of world golf at Jumeirah Golf Estates, the community has sponsored the play of Jeev Milkha Singh, India’s leading professional golfer. According to an exclusive six-figure sponsorship deal, the rising star will sport Jumeirah Golf Estates headwear and clothing throughout the 2009 season.

Singh has 14 professional victories and was the first Indian golfer to qualify for The European Tour; he has an incredible following in India and throughout Asia. During his outstanding 2006 season, Singh claimed victory at the Volvo China Open, the season-ending Volvo Masters on The European Tour and the final two events of the 2006 Japan Golf Tour season.

With the support of Jumeirah Golf Estates in fulfilling his considerable potential, Singh is aiming to compete in the inaugural Dubai World Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates this November.
