Whispering Pines:
With its elevated views across both the Earth and Fire courses and with the silhouette of Dubai Marina in the distance, Whispering Pines is becoming a truly stunning street.
Structural works are now nearing completion throughout the undulating landscape with the majority of ground floor slabs, first floor beams and slabs and roof beams and slabs completed.
As structural works progress smoothly so too do the internal finishes with block-work to a significant number of villas now finished, with works continuing on the remainder. Internal plastering to the majority of villas has been finished while wall and floor tiling to more than 50 of the villas is now complete. Joinery and carpentry works continue throughout the district.
Façade works throughout the street are continuing with more than half of the external plaster work completed. The roof tiles and window installation continue to progress smoothly on a number of villas.
The external and random stone cladding is also becoming increasingly evident in the first phase of the neighbourhood.
Tennis Academy:
Tiling works and cast stone works are nearing completion to this building that sits conveniently between Whispering Pines and the Clubhouse. Asphalt works are due to commence over the coming weeks on the court area, which will enable the hard court surface to be laid shortly thereafter (as used at Flushing Meadows for the US Open.)
Internal painting works are progressing and the suspended ceiling works are nearing completion. Paving works to the terrace area are now complete and the large retractable folding glass doors have been installed. The installation of cast stone to this area has also been completed.
Norman Clubhouse:
The magnificent Norman Clubhouse now finds itself surrounded by two rapidly maturing golf courses (Earth and Fire) and the practice facility. The huge steel roof structure of this 131,000 ft² building now has 15 of the 16 sections completed with the last in progress.
Works to five sections of the clay tile roofs have been completed and fascia works have commenced to the first of these roofs.
Plastering works continue to the lower, main and upper levels of the Clubhouse with 90% of the works to the lower level finished and over 75% completion on the main and upper levels. External plaster works are also very near completion.
The roof slab to the pool plant room has now been cast, and further structural works to the retaining walls are in progress.
Flame Tree Ridge:
In this stunning location which offers dramatic views over both the Greg Norman designed Earth and Fire courses, structural works are continuing to progress well throughout the district with basement slabs, ground floor slabs, first floor slabs, and roof slabs now cast throughout the street.
Mechanical, electronic and plumbing (MEP) first fix works are ongoing throughout the district. Both internal and external plaster works are progressing well with further works underway.
Finishes works are also gathering pace as ceramic tiling and marble works progress to the villas in the first phase of the street. Works to the plot boundary walls in the first phase of the district are progressing allowing each plot to be distinct from its neighbour and the courses.
Fireside:
In this prestigious street situated on the Fire course, superstructure works continue to progress with footing, basement and grade slab works completed on all but one villa.
A large percentage of the ground floor columns, first floor slabs, and roof slabs have been completed and over 50% of the block-work is completed throughout the district.
Internal and external plaster works are both 30% complete within the street.
