  • What must I bring to an appointment to purchase at Jumeirah Golf Estates?

    When attending a sales meeting or launch event, individuals and organisations should bring the following credentials if intending to purchase:

    Individuals

    • Original passport
    • Copies of passport (3)
    • Means of payment
    • Certified copy or original of any one of the following:*
      • Tenancy agreement in the name of individual. If tenancy agreement is in the name of the individual’s employer, a letter from the employer confirming that the individual resides in the premises named in the lease will suffice. Alternatively, if the employer will not provide such a letter, a letter signed by the individual along with evidence of his employment with the company named in the tenancy agreement can be provided instead.
      • Utility bill for gas, water, electricity or land line (not mobile) telephone service detailing the residential address of the purchaser
      • Bank account, credit card or mortgage statement

    * Items of proof must not be older than three months from their date of issue. P.O. Box numbers are generally not acceptable.

    Local Companies

    • Establishment/sole proprietorship (owned by one person)
    • Copy of trade license
    • Copy of valid certification of membership of Chamber of Commerce & Industry

  • What deposit is required to purchase a home?

    An aggregate non-refundable deposit equal to 10 percent of the total purchase price of the property is required to purchase a home.  Of this deposit amount, 5 percent of the purchase price must be paid in cash or by cheque at the time the reservation is made. The balance of the deposit, the remaining 5 percent of the purchase price, must be made by way of a 30-day post-dated cheque that is handed over at the time of making the reservation. At the sales meeting, the sales consultant will provide additional information about the ongoing payment schedule for the remainder of the purchase price.

  • Who is qualified to receive financing?

    Financing is available to any type of buyer, including:

    • Non-UAE residents
    • Employed applicants
    • Self-employed applicants

    Islamic financing options as well as conventional financial options, including capital repayment, interest-only and multi-currency lending, are available.

  • What is the size of the development?

    The total land area of Jumeirah Golf Estates is 1,119 hectares. Phase A occupies 375 hectares and incorporates 13 planned residential communities comprising more than 1,000 individual properties, each set in beautifully landscaped surroundings with estates ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 sq. ft.

    Throughout the communities, a sense of space has been afforded paramount importance: 75 percent of all properties face the golf courses, and the remainder overlook lakes and nature scenes.

  • What different design styles are featured in the individual communities?

    Interiors, exteriors and landscaping are each inspired by an element—Fire, Earth, Water or Wind. In coordination with architects, interior designers and other design partners, these choices have been developed with careful and expert planning.

    For example, the exteriors of the homes in the Fire neighbourhood complement the beauty of their desert setting, drawing on rustic Tuscan and Mediterranean architectural themes with materials that include stucco, rough stone and brick. With views across the most beautiful green spaces in Dubai, the Earth neighbourhood takes its inspiration from the great European and North American parklands. Dense, landscaped vegetation punctuated with impressive water features provides the perfect backdrop to the inspirational Mediterranean architecture.

    Interiors, too, are designed according to the same four themes, with four different options to choose from and select homes appointed with unique B&B Italia finishes. In-depth descriptions of all interior options are  available.

    Each style is created with the customer in mind, and partners seek to deliver the very highest standard of branded finishes available in the Dubai market today.   • Will landscaping be provided to the neighbourhood and homes?

    Jumeirah Golf Estates will provide landscaping for streetscapes, parks and roads built in Phase A. Materials will include stone and wood cladding that are consistent with the styles and color palettes of the neighbourhoods and associated golf courses. Foliage and other landscaping features will also take their inspiration from the neighbourhood’s organising element.

    All the homes in communities developed by Jumeirah Golf Estates will have unique amenities such as swimming pools, shaded areas and outdoor barbecue kitchens. Within these communities, landscaping will also include the front yards, back gardens and side gardens (where applicable). As with the interiors, our goal is to provide purchasers with homes delivered in move-in condition without the need for additional landscaping.

  • Where is Jumeirah Golf Estates located and where is the sales office?

    Jumeirah Golf Estates is ideally situated in the heart of new Dubai, approximately 22 km southwest of Dubai’s city centre, in the Jebel Ali district. It is located on the south side of Emirates Highway opposite Jumeirah Village; other nearby developments include the Green Community, Dubai Sports City and Al Furjan.

  • Who is involved in the development of Jumeirah Golf Estates?

    Jumeirah Golf Estates is being developed by Leisurecorp, a wholly-owned business of Istithmar PJSC, the investment company of Dubai World. Dubai World is in turn owned by the Dubai government. Leisurecorp is also the owner of Pearl Valley Golf Estates in South Africa and Turnberry Resort in Scotland, among other premium leisure properties.

    Leisurecorp has recruited a team of partners and consultants that represent the best in world golf to aid in the development of Jumeirah Golf Estates. They include GPS Industries, IMG, EDSA and KEO, as well as the legendary golfers who are designing its four courses: Greg Norman, Vijay Singh, Pete Dye and Sergio Garcia. Mott MacDonald Ltd., a leading UK consultancy, is the chief project manager for the development. Equally prestigious brands in home design—such as B&B Italia, Bang & Olufsen, Poggenpohl and many others—allow us to offer interiors and finishes of the very highest standards.
